When teaching children about various insects, it is fascinating to explore the life cycle of each creature. Students will not only gain an appreciation for how fragile life is, but develop a realization of how patterns in the cycle of life are repeated again and again. Below, you will find two versions of a non-fictional book students can develop on the life cycle of an ant. The first version is in the form of sequencing cards. The second version is in the form of an actual book that children can create and read.
